Douglas C. Melvin resides in Boise, Idaho and is regarded as one of the foremost security minds in the industry. No matter the security or management issue, Doug has lived it and managed it whether it’s regarding physical security, counter-terrorism, crisis management, executive protection, investigations, etc.
Most notably, Doug Melvin has served his country in stellar capacities as Federal Security Director for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Country Director in Iraq for the Department of Homeland Security and Senior Advisor to the Iraqi Government. In addition, Doug established the first full-service security office within the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
